This is an update on a recent issue that affected some card payment attempts made through ParentPay.

A temporary issue with a third‑party payment provider occurred today between 07:29 and 11:00 on 5 February 2026. During this time, some card transactions did not fully process. As a result, any payments attempted within this window may appear as “pending” on bank accounts.

Please be assured:

– The “pending” amount is a temporary bank authorisation.
– This will be automatically removed by the bank, typically within10 working days.
– No action is required by schools or payers for this to be cleared.
– If a payment still needs to be made, it can now be completed as normal, as the issue has been fully resolved.
