Mrs Julie Forber

Parent Governor

I moved to Stoke from North Wales 10 years ago and have found the city and it’s people warm and welcoming. I am an occupational health nurse and qualified as a nurse in 2010. I decided to become a parent governor when my first child started at Jackfield; as soon as I looked around the school I knew it was a very special place and my children have thrived there! I had no experience of being a governor previously but have found it really interesting to be involved and feel very privileged to be a parent representative.
